JotSmart
in Action
The following
example shows how an engineer would capture, annotate and send a supplier
a portion of a CAD drawing to resolve issues or bring clarity to the suppliers
performance requirements.
This example
demonstrates how JotSmart software can reduce supplier communication conflicts
by allowing a quick and concise transfer of graphical information and instructions.
Rather than relying solely on text messages and attachments, the engineer
and supplier can communicate using the drawing itself!
The
CAD program is up and running with the drawing in view.
Our goal is to show the supplier what changes have
been made:

-
Start JotSmart by double clicking
the JotSmart icon
in the System Tray
The
JotSmart toolbar will then appear along with the red rectangular work area
over the existing CAD program:

-
Position the red rectangle (work area) over the CAD drawing by clicking
and dragging the border line of the red work area:
(note the blue
arrow in the lower left corner of the work area shows the direction of
the mouse movement for this example only and is not part of the CAD drawing
or JotSmart)
-
Mark up the image with JotSmart's
tools:
A Note
|
|
An Arrow
|
The Highlighter Pen
|
A Red Circle
|
A Voice Message
|
-
Click JotSmart's Send via E-mailbutton .
When your e-mail program appears, specify an addresses,
add any extra text and press send.
Send
us examples of how you use JotSmart. We may use them to show others
how JotSmart software can capture, annotate and send.
