JotSmart in Action
The
following example shows how you would would capture, annotate and send
a map with instructions to a business colleague, friend or family.
This
example demonstrates how JotSmart software can help you save time and trouble
communicating information that is primarily graphical ...using graphics!
Rather than relying solely on text messages - which can limit the amount
of information and requires your recipient to visualize - you can now send
an image that is worth the proverbial "thousand words" (or more!).
You
are not just limited to sending maps ... stock charts, photos, drawings
- anything you see on your computer can be marked-up and sent!
Your
Web browser is up and running with the map in view (in this example we
are using MapQuestTM). Our goal is to mark up the map
so that our Uncle Bob, to whom we are sending the e-mail, knows exactly
where we live:

-
Start JotSmart by double clicking the JotSmart icon
in the System Tray

The
JotSmart toolbar will then appear along with the red rectangular work area
partially over the map:

-
Position the red rectangle (work
area) over the map by clicking and dragging the border line of the red
work area:
(note
the blue arrow in the lower left corner of the work area shows the direction
of the mouse movement for this example only and is not part of the CAD
drawing or JotSmart)
-
Mark
up the image with JotSmart's tools:

Click
JotSmart's Send via E-mail button .
When your e-mail program appears,
specify your recipient's address, add any extra text and press send.
Send
us examples of how you use JotSmart. We may use them to show others
how JotSmart software can capture, annotate and send.
