JotSmart in Action
The following example shows how a marketing executive would capture, annotate
and send a PowerPointTM
slide to her P.R. Agency.
Note that the image is sent in a standard picture format... this is benefiical because the P.R. firm
will be able to view the image directly in the e-mail. If JotSmart
had not been used to mark-up and send the slide, the marketing executive
would have had to send the PowerPoint
TM
slide as an attached file instead... the recipient at the P.R. firm would
only be able to view the slide if she also had PowerPoint
TM
on her computer.
This example demonstrates how JotSmart software can help lower the cost of marketing
by simplifying the process of sending marketing literature to customers,
ad agencies, public relations agencies, print media, graphic design houses
and departments within the company itself.
Powerpoint
TM
is up and running on the computer, with the slide we
wish to annotate in view. Our goal is to show the supplier what changes
have been made:

-
Start JotSmart by double clicking
the JotSmart icon
in the System Tray
The
JotSmart toolbar will then appear along with the red rectangular work area
over the top of Powerpoint:

-
Position the red rectangle (work area) over the area you wish to mark-up
by clicking and dragging the border line of the rectangle:
(note the blue arrow in the
lower left corner of the work area shows the direction of the mouse movement
for this example only and is not part of the CAD drawing or JotSmart)
-
Mark up the image with JotSmart's
tools:
