Registration Numbers

1.The time limit expired on JotSmart.  How do I reinstall it for more time?

Purchase or Upgrade! JotSmart software works on try-before-you-buy principal. We give you a trial period in which to learn and use the software for no charge. After that period ends, the program asks you to upgrade. You will not be able to use any of the mark-up/send features until you upgrade. Once you purchase a registration key, all the features will be enabled. Additionally, the ad banners (underneath the toolbar AND around your annotated images in the e-mail) will NOT appear anymore.

2. Where do I enter the registration number?

You must first purchase/register the program through our e-commerce purchase link (click here for purchase information). A registration code will be e-mailed to you. Upon receipt of the registration number, input the number, your name and e-mail address into the text fields found on the Register Now dialogue box:

You can get to this dialog box from either:

(1) The Register Now item under the Help menu
     (the  button on the JotSmart toolbar): 
 

...or...

(2) The dialog box that pops up after the trial period has expired.   This dialog box gives two options:

     (a) Exit the Program (i.e. No thanks)
     (b) Help Me Register 
 
3. I've registered in the past and now I need a new registration number to unlock the program.  How do I get one?

If you previously purchased a registration key for your current version, please send us an e-mail with the name and e-mail address of the registered person to support@dailytoast.com. Click here to send us an e-mail.

4.  When I enter the registration number, the program says it is invalid.
  • Make sure you have the correct version of the program.  Registration numbers are version-specific. 

    You can find the version number of your software in the "About" box (under the "Help" menu) and the version number of the currently distributed version number from our Buy Now page.

  • Make sure you have typed in your name, e-mail address and registration number EXACTLY as they appear in your confirmation e-mail.  Please note:
     

    1. This information is case sensitive... i.e. "John Smith" is not the same as "john smith".
    2. The 0's in the Registration Number are the number zero not the letter "oh"
     
  • It may be that data cannot be stored in a certain part of your registry.  When this is the case, you will get an error message stating as much. When using Windows NT, 2000 or XP, make sure you have the rights to modify the registry.

  • Please note that the order number is not a registration number.
